This presentation introduces a comparison of the decomposition performance of acetaldehyde, a harmful substance, using indoor light.
A research team led by Professor Yokono has developed a "visible light-responsive titanium oxide nanomaterial" that performs highly even under weak indoor lighting. The "visible light-responsive titanium oxide nanomaterial" was tested for its ability to decompose chemical substances (such as acetaldehyde, a cause of sick house syndrome) using indoor light, and it showed approximately four times the decomposition performance compared to commonly used nitrogen-doped titanium oxide. Additionally, in the product development utilizing the "visible light-responsive titanium oxide nanomaterial," a filter with excellent antibacterial, antiviral, and deodorizing properties has been developed, and the photocatalyst has been applied to aluminum mesh filters using a thermal spraying method. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
